Robert B. Goodman published the first issue of the Voice of the People on September 2, 1892 in Cartersville, Georgia. The paper circulated every Friday at a subscription cost of one dollar and supported the Peoples’ Party of Georgia. After only a month of circulation, Goodman moved to Atlanta, and the paper ceased publication.
