A CARTERSVILLE INTERVIEW Mr. Howard Tell* His Experi ence The following brief account of an in terview with a Cartersville man, five years ago, and its sequel, will be road with keen interest by every citizen. Geo. A. Howard, W Main Bt., gave the following account of his experience with Doan's Kidney Pills June 11, 1914: "About two weeks ago I finished using Doan's Kidny Pills and they relieved me of a bad attack of kidney trouble. I am feeling as well and fit as I have ever felt in my life and I give Doan’s the cedit for this. My kidneys were weak and I had severe pains in my tack and limbs. I don't know what brought this trouble on, but I believe the water I drink was the chief cause. I used two boxes of Doan's Kidney Pills all told, and I have great faith in this remedy." On April 30, 1918, Mr. Howard said: "I think just as highly of Doan's Kid ney Pills now as whn I endorsed them befor. Blind Man Knew It. Knoxville, Tenn. —Government cen sus takers were so surprised wheD Knoxville reported a population ol 77,818, a gain of 114.1 per cent, that they sent investigators here, but W. F. Sanland, totally blind, knew the figures were correct. Following a school cen sus, he announced that the city’s pop ulation was 77,689. Sanland has per fected a census taking system which has been adopted by the public schools. Boy Saves Three. New York. —James Toussient, fif teen, was the hero of a fire at 82? Ninth avenue. He led his grandmoth er and two other women to safety guiding them along a coping over * store and lifting them through th< windows of an adjacent building. Sing at Rowland Springs. The Tribune-News has been request ed to announce that plans had been perfected for holding a regular old fashioned singing at Rowland Springs on the second Sunday in May, which is the 9th day of next month. There will be dinner on the ground, and some good singing throughout the day.
