A beautiful social affair of last Fri day afternoon was the party given by tiie Girls’ Auxiliary of the East Side Rapt st church at the home of the counsellor, Mrs. George Adams. The decorations were suggestive of the Yuietide season, with beautiful potted plants, the color scheme being red and green One of the merriest features of the afternoon was the “penny contest,” each one 1 ringing as many pnnios as they had letters in their name.
