Board Announces No Tuition
For Cobb County Pupils

Decision by the Acworth Board of
Education to offer to children of the
county he advantages of the Acworth
h'gh school without tution is a unique
example so far as Cobb county is con
cerned on the part of Cobb county
towns to offer to their surrounding ter
ritories every facility for betterment.
The board this week announced that
any child in Cobb county would be ad -
mitted to the Acworth high school ab
solutely free. The Acworth school,
which is one of the best in this sec Jon
of the state, has eleven gades and is a
standard high school. Its graduates
are admitted to collid es and univers -
ties without entrance examinations.
Pupils .rom the country districts will
lie admitted to the grammar grades of
the Acworth school on payment of the
usual tuition. .
