ANOTHER SOURCE OF MONEY.
P SCUSSIONS of world questions are important. but none of
them, or only the rarest few of them, get ai close to all of ua as
discussions of questions affecting our own lecponal welfare and
development. The foregoing topic. we-Wr^sure. has b6en read with
(nuch interest. But not more than the following will jbe. Because
in it. Sumier county is shown another undeveloped source of wealth
And progress with which little has been done hereabouts up to this
(ime, but tn which much interest has been proved on numerous
occasions.
It is with pride that citizens of Sumter county learn ok progress
made by sister South Georgia counties, for whtft adds to the well-
being and development of any part of this aection adds to Sumter
c6unty, too. by attracting attention to the great possibilities and
opportunities we all possess. And it is with particular interest that
fhis item will be read because every citizen will see in it visions of its
duplication right here. Here it is. from our Moultrie newt letter:
MOULTRIE.—-Impressive proof of the marked growth of the

the plant gets daily shipment* from points as far east as Valdosta, far

Despite itn large production ul this time the ereamcry is not yet
running full rapacity, it being able to take car* of 5,000 gallons of
whole milk a day. It uses 800 gallon* dally in paaking condensed milk
. and has the only condensing plant in the state. The creamery is
finding no trouble in disposing „f its finished product. In fact, ae-
eoi8ing to a statement issued by tile management, it has been necessary

The butter turned blit by the plant is shipped to various cities in the
South, nml lercntly one of the big butter manufacturers of the
country offered to take the entire‘product and furnish cartons in
