Mr. Glenn Hopson drove out from
Newnan Sunday morning to spend the
day with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.
B. Hopson, while Miss Miriam Atkin
son, of Newnan, under Mr. Hopson’s
escort, was a most welcome guest for
the day of her cousin, Mrs. H. L. Cul
pepper.
Mr. Homer Robertson, of Carrollton,
was mingling with Lone Oak relatives
and friends last Sunday.
The Thimble Club found delightful
employment and entertainment Satur
day afternoon at the home of Miss Min
nie White. By way of refreshment,
delicious fruit salad was served by the
lovely young hostess.
Lone Oak auxiliary of the Home
Missionary Society met Saturday after
noon, and were hospitably entertained
at the home of Mrs. H. L. Culpepper.
At the close of the regular Sunday-
school exercises at Prospect church last
Sunday, the little folks of the Juvenile
Brigade and Baby Roll (Home Mission
ary Society,) on the occasion of their
mite-box opening, entertained the con
gregation with a prettily arranged and
well-rendered programme, in which they
had been instructed by their leader,
Miss Addie Sewell. The singing was
led by Mrs. W. R. Sewell.
Nov. 24th.
