a few days, and hear lovely songs, sung

word's history, Mr. Alexander.

One ol the most brilliant events of the
week was a tea given by Miss Susie
Trovis in honor of the graduating class.
The house was artistically decorated in
ferns, |iahus and cut flowers. The
bright young Indies in their dainty white
dresses completed the picture of lovli-
ness. Pink and white were the prevail
ing colors Barbecue, salads and ices

The commencement at Brantley In
stitute was a great success in every {>ar-
tioulnr. Tite comedy presented by the
girls Monday night was fine. Special
mention should bo made of Miss Mar
garet Gay ami Miss Ruth Atkinson.

Tuesday night by the little girk.
