All are invited to attend our tent
meeting, which is being conducted by
Bro. John B. Goins and brethren from
other towns. We hope that much good
may he accomplished through these
earnest servants of God. The tent is
located near the city hall ground.
There was no Sunday school at the
Chapel last Sunday morning, owing to
absence of the Superintendent, who
went to the picnic Saturday and didn’t
get back till Sunday afternoon.
The writer didn’t have space last
week to say bnt little in regard to our
trip to Atlanta. To say we enjoyed it,
doesn’t express it. Wo had the pleasure
of going to Dr. Broughton's Tabernacle,
and being shown through every apart
ment, and we found that sociability is
the secret of his success as n minister of
the gospel. He knows each one of his
members by name when and wherever
he sees them, and gives each one work
to do. We also attended the Glenn
Street Baotist church and taught a Sun
day school class. We enjoyed the music j
there; they have six instruments and n |
chorous of :t() or more voices.
