I hear some of the boys iround about my age are getting narried, and you may hear that Jnkle Jake is married before zou think of it. this world don’t offer me but little that’s worth while, 3ut that little I get, I want it in style l am not rushing through life in any hurry To go slow, I meet plenty, to trouble and worry Thirty-nine years, the happiest part of my life [ lived with a kind, true, loving wife. She was loyal and true, g'entle and kind And was a great pleasure to my mind. 3ut it happened in the month of May, Apgels came, and carried her away. And I have been left alone, three long years To weep, to mourn, and shed many tears. For she has ascended to our Father above, To enjoy the sweet comforts of His love. And when my race on earth has been run And all my toils and troubles are done, I hope to meet her around God’s throne, To dwell together, forever, at Home. UNKLE JAKE. NOTICE.
