some time with her parents in

Mr. I. B. Stinson was a vis
itor to Gordon this week.
Mr. Jim Chambers of Macon
was called to Irwinton Tuesday
on account of the serious illness
of his father, Mr. A. Chambers.
Mr. Will Freeman of Tooms
boro mode a business trip to this
city Wednesday.
Misses Iris and Nina Ragan
of Morgan have arrived in
town and will be the guests of
Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Ragan for
several aays.
Dr. and Mrs. H. C. Wood
were visitors to Macon this

Miss Cora Price of Atlanta is
the guest of Miss Ruby Culpep
per this week.
Prof. L. 0. Freeman of Con
yers was in town shaking hands
with his many friends.
Mrs. Rebecca Stevens has re
turned to her home in Makoti
after spending several weeks
with her mother, Mrs. G. A.
Hughes at this place.

REVIVAL AT SALEM.
Rev. C. J. Mallette reports
that the revival at Salem last
week was one of great helpful
ness to many of those who at
tended. The attendance was
igood. Many members of the
church expressed the purpose to
live nearer the Lord.
One result of the meeting was
the addition of fourteen mem
bers by vows and three by cer
tificate.
