her mother, Mrs. G. A. Hughes.

BIRTHDAY PARTY.
Mrs. H. C. Wood entertained
Friday afternoon for her niece,
little Annie Mae Cannon of Sa
vannah in honor of her sixth
birthday. The little folks came
with gifts which delighted al’
the children. Mrs. Wood had
arranged various way of amuse
ment, and entertained them in
her usual cordial way. The re
freshments consisted of ice
cream, sherbet and dainty little
cakes.

of the young people Thursday
evening in honor of their cous
in, Miss Ruth Freeman, of
Toomsboro.
