BROADFIELD-DUGGAN.
The marriage off Miss Lila B'road
tield, of Nona, Gp., and Dr. J. H. Dug
gan, of this county which occurred
last Wednesday came as a great sur
prise to their many friends.
On account of the illness of < Mr.
Broadfield^, the bride’s father, they
were q ietly married at the home in
Nona and left immediately in an auto
for their home in this county, about
12 mles from Irwinton.
Miss Brbadfield is a splendid young
woman, eldest daughter of Mr. and
Mrs.’ W. B. Brbadfield, and has a host
of friends here, having spent much
time with her grandmother, Mrs. Jane
Burney.
Dr. Duggan is One of the most prom
inent physicians in the county and has
made a great success as a planter in
that section.
