tate James Lockhart, for dustribution
among heirs.

It is ordered that $1.20 on the SIOO or
the taxable property of said county
as per digest of J. 916, be, and same is

hereby, levied, and that the same be
collected by the Tax Collector, for the
following purposes:
1. 50 cents on the SIOO to build or
repair court house or jail, bridges or
ferries, or ether public improvements
according to contract.
2. 10 cents on the SIOO to pay sher
iffs, jailers, or other officers fees, that
they may be legally entitled to out
of the county. ’
3. l-Bth cent on the SIOO to pay cor
oners fees that mey be due them by
the county for holding inquests.
4. 05 cents on the SIOO to pay the
expenses of the county for bailiffs at
court, non-resident witnesses in crim
inal cases, fuel, servant hire, station
ery and the like.
5. 03 cents on tho SIOO to pay jur
ors a per, diem con.peusation.
6. 05 cents on the SIOO to pay ex
penses incurred in supporting the
poor of the county, and as otherwise
prescribed by the code of 1910.
7. 40 cents on the SIOO to pay for
working, building, repairing, maintain
ing and otherwise working public roads
of said county.
8. 06 7-8 cents on the SIOO to pay
any other lawful charges against the
county.
9. 50 cents on the SIOO of the tax
able property included in Gordon
School district for school purposes
in said district; 50 cents on the SIOO
of the taxable property included in
Irwinton School District for school pur
poses in said school district; 50 cents
on the SIOO of the taxable property of
Mclntyre School District for school
purposes in said district, said amounts
having been certified to us as hav
ing been assessed as required by law
in said districts.

Mr. Slappey is a resident of

i Harrison. They were married and
i left immediately for their home
; about eighteen miles below Jeffer
sonville. Airs. Slappey is a splen
did young woman and has a host
of friends who wish for her^a life
of much happiness.
