County; '
The petition of N. H. Bacon, J. F.
Dloodworth and Geo. 1L Carswell,
all of Wilkioson County, Georgia,
respectfully shows: ;
Ist. That they desire for them
selves, their associates and SuCCessors,
to pe incorporated and made a body
politic under the name aud style of
The Forester Corporation for the pe
ricd of twenty years. :
2nd. The principal office of said
company shall be in the city of Gor
don, State and county aforesaid, but
petitioners desire the right to estab
lish branch offices within this State,
whenever the holder of a majority of
the stock may so determine.
3rd. The object of said corpora
tion is pecuniary gain to itself and its
shareholders and to. encouragze refor
estation in Georgia
4th. The business to be carried on
by said corporation is buying and
selling real estate, proteciion of the
trecs and vegetation thereon from
fires, re forestration, and the doing of
all things incident to or connected
therewith.
Hth. The capital stock of said
corporation shall be twenty-five
thousand Dollars ‘with the privilege
of increasing the same to the sum of
Fifry- Thousand dollars by a majority
vote of the stockholders, said stock to
be divided into shares of one hundred
d~llars each. Ten per cent of the
amount of capital to be employed by
them has been actually paid in,

to sue and be sued, to plesd and to
be impleaded, to have and use a com
mon seal, to make all necéssary by
laws and regulations, and to do all
