The Indian operetta, “The
Feast of the Red Corn,” directed
by Miss Ellen Linder. And
sponsored by the Danville
Woman’s Club, will be presented
at the Danville auditorium
Thursday, Aug. 26, 8:30 P. M.
Thirty characters, including the
Queen of the Weeda Wanta
tribe, mischievous younger sister
of the queen, three children of
the queen, the king and the old
squaw as the principals, and a
chorus of ten Indian maidens,
together with nineteen quick,
catchy, attractive musical
numbers, will present in a most
pleasing, interesting and amus
ing way American Indianlife.

Winder. Ga ,to Mr John H. Mc-
Graw, of Atlanta, formerly of Irwin
ton, which was solemnized at 10:4-5
Sunday morning at St. Paul Method
ist church. The ceremony was per
formed by the pastor, Rev. Wilkes
Collins, tormer pastor ot the bride
The radiant young bride was never
more beautiful than on her wedding
dav. She wore a becoming dress of
midnight blue crepe, trimmings of
tan georgette, her hat was a becom
ing model of tan felt, matching the
trimmings of dress. Her bouquet
was a corsage of bride roses and val
ley lilies.
