the table was the Birthday Cake

hearts are glad as we enter another
new year and grant that we may live
to meet to-gether again.
Big Wild Turkey
" Mr, W. I. Dixon made the whole
town turkey hungry the other day
when he brought a twenty seven
pound wild gobbler on the street and
let everyhody take a good look at it.
It was a bronze.feathered turkey and
one of the prettiest birds ever seen in
the city. Mr. Dixon found six of the
turkeys in the swamp near his home
and got one at the first shot, then his
gun jaufimed and the others flew away,
But he was satisfied, as this one was
a mighty googd day’s hunting all by
itself. :

The financial strength of a man who carries his money Ir‘l his
pocket is just what he has in his pocket. :
Not so the man whose money is all in his bank.
The one conduets his business in away that no one knows just
where‘he stands financially. The other conducts his business so
that his bank has a line on his financial affairs. The latter soon
establishes a line of credit that doubles his ready cash resources. .
It is best to be a bank depositor. |
