The Forced Re& Is Not Enjoyed
When your hauling needs to be going on this very day, and
there is an important business trip to be made in the car, and
there is a big mud puddle in the road that stops all the traveling,
you don’t enjoy that kind of rest. But you can use the time to
some advantage by studying the good road programs.
The Only
Real Winter Tread!
More than 20 winters have proved the Goodyear All-Weather
the safest and best non-skid tread.
You can see the reason in the center—where you most need cleats
on a tread to grip and hold the road—only in a Goodyear All-
Weather do you get those famous deep-cut, sharp-pointed, dia-

Mr. Hines have been consulting with
the company with reference to the
purchase for two months, it was said.
Mr. Grayson, who made the pre
liminary surveys at the plant, said
last night the Nasht ile corporation
probably will speed approximately
$500,000 in renewing operation. It
has been closed since December,
1926.
The consulting engineer has been
in Macon only three months, main
taining offices in the Georgia Oa^'
ualty building. It was he who first
interested the Tennessee corporation
in the purchase of the plant, it was
said.
Mr. McCaw, on April 9, made an
nouncement of the tentative sale of
the plant to ur named interests in

The bid of two weeks ago came up
for confirmation by the referee in

it was then that the new bid was
offered. Mr. Tallev said the original

another bid, but the re’feree refused

Zander-Gump
The Zander-Gump wedding is one
of the most amusing plays on the
amateur stage and is certainly a
whole show by itself, bringing before
you almost all of the famous people of
the comic supplements. In addition
to this those who attend tonights
performance will enjoy another first
class show in the music of three
groups of performers who are all
popular with the people of the bounty,
they are: The Dixie Minstrels, Mr.
I. F. Billue, Misses Louise and
Dorothy Billue; The Oconee Night
hawks, Mr. H. S. Hooks, Mr. J. P.
Langford, Mr, C. F. Lord; Mr. Allen
Horton, who is considered a group all
by himself.
The Dixie Minstrels have made
and sustained an enviable record as
entertainers and have given more
performances than any local company
in this part ot the state. The
Oconee Nighthawks are well known
and were prize winners in the fiddlers
contest recently held in Irwinton.
Mr. Allen Horton at the fiddlers
convention received more applause
than any individual performer. This
gathering of musicians will add
greatly to the drawing power of the
entertainment Friday night. Make
your plans to attend.
