I have a peculiar regard for and a
special interest in the merry month of
May because it is my birth month,
and every time the date rolls around
I feel a year younger, having shed
another batch of illusions and lost
quite a quantity of youthful serious
ness. There are so many solemn
things that really don’t matter, and it
takes us such a long time to find it
out.
T. H, Bragg has pulled off his
J. B. Simpson vest, and I have
removed my J. B. Simpson vest, and
that is a very good sign that happy
days are here again.
. Traveling saw filer and expert
knife maker has been doing good
work in the city during the week and
suppose the building and repairing of
houses will speed up still more and
and the workers can cut their meat
better to meet their improved
appetites. No, Wes, he doesn’t
make sardine can openers.
The boys are hoping to get off to
Danville this afternoon for a ball
game.
