Museum at G. S. C. W.
The History Club of the Georgia
State College for® Women will be
glad to hear from those who bhave
pieces of old Georgia pottery, and
who would contribute them to the
mussum.
The students of the col'eze have
brough: many relics from Georgia
attics and several glass cases and files
are filled with letter, papers war relics,
Indian trophies, It is hoped that
every county will have a part in the
enterprise and that eventually it wil
occupy a division of the library at the
college. ~ :
Milledgeville, it is thought, is a
most fitting place to have such a
museum, as the old capitol was there
for gixty-eight years and the most
colorful and dramatic period of
Georgia’s history was enacted there.

Carriers Convention
The Rural Carriers of the
tenth district will hold their
annual convention in Irwinton at
the courthouse tomorrow, May
30th. An interesting program
of music and speeches has been
prepared and a fish dinner will
be zexlved at noon.
This convention will bring
several hundred people to the
city. Besure to come out and
help make the visitors enjoy the
day. 3
