Under and by virtue of the power
of sale contained in a certain deed to
secure debt made by W. 0. Kinney
and Dupont G. Kinney on Feb 9,
1926, recorded in Book 41, folios 60
and 61, Clerk’s Office of Wilkinson
Superior court, the undersigned will
sell at public outcry, to the highest
bidder for cash, before the courthouse
door in said county of Wilkinson,
during the legal hours of sale on Fri
day, June 26th, 1931, the following
described property, to-wit: 110 acres,
more or less, lying and being in the
4th land dist. of Wilkinson county,
and consisting of 80 acres of land lot
No. 110 and 30 acres of land lot No.
128; the said 80 acres adjoining
lands of Geo. H. Carswell on two
sides, lands of Mrs. A. H. Nisbett
and Martha Allen, and lying on the
Irwinton- Mclntyre public road, and
known as the “Willing” place; the 30
acres being bounded on tile east by
the public road leading from Irwinton
to Wriley, on the south by the public
road leading from Irwinton to Mcln
tyre, on the north by lands of H. M.
Skelton, and on the west by lands of
Martha Allen, and being the place
known as the pecan farm formerly
owned by R, N, Hughs.
Said lands will be sold as aforesaid
for the purpose of paying an indebt
edness of $3,105.00 principal, besides
interest thereon since Feb. 9, 1931, at
7 per cent, per annum. Said indebt
edness is described in and secured by
said deed to secure debt and the
whole amount thereof is past due un
der the terms of said deed-
The proceeds of said sale will be
applied first to he payment of said
indebtedness after the pavment of all
expenses incident to said sale, and the
residue, if any, will be paid to the
said W. O. Kinney and the said Du
pont Kinney, their heirs or assigns.

titled an Act to establish a City Court
of Irwinton in and for the County of
Wilkinson; to provide its jurisdiction
and powers; to provide for a Judge
and other officers thereof; to define
their duties and powers and for other
purposes. This the 28th day of May

I will introduce in the 1931
regular session of the General
Assembly of the State of Georgia a
Bill to be entitled an Act to create a
board of Commissioners of Road and
Revenues of Wilkinson County,
Georgia; to provide for the naming
and election of the Commissioners
which shall constitute said board; to
prescribe their term of office; to
provide for a chairman of said board;
to prescribe their duties and powers,
and the duties and Dowers of the
chairman of said board; to fix their
salaries and the' salaries of said
chairman and other officers and
employees of said County; to provide
for filling vancancies and for other
purposes. -

and decree granted by Hon. James
B. Park as Judge of Superior Court
of Wilkinson county, the undersigned
Commissioners will sell before the
court house door in Wilkinson county
between the legal hours of sale to the
highest and best bidder for cash on
the first Tuesday in July 1931 the
following described lands, to-wit:
All that tract or parcel of land ly
ing, being and situate in the the
330th District G. M. of Wilkinson
county Georgia and described as fol
lows: All that tract of land consisting
of 140 acres, more or less, being parts
of land lots numbers 209 and 214 in
the Third land District of Wilkinson
county, Georgia, and being bounded
on tiie North by lands formerly owned
by Mrs Willie Pearl Cox; on the
East by lands formerly owned by
Mrs Willie I’earl Cox and W. A.
Hall; on the South by Irwinton-Balis
Ferry road, and on the West by
lands of John Freeman and Mrs Nar
cissus Davis-
Said land will be sold under and by
virtue of Partition Proceedings in the
case of Daisy I. Dean, Zelphia Dean
Mercer, W, L. Dean, Bertha Dean,
Mrs. A. G. Threadgill and Eyans Tuber
ville Against L. A. Dean, Mrs. I. D.
Reeves and Harry Tuberville.
Said lands will be sold and the
proceeds of said sale, less the costs of
the proceeding, will be divided among
the serveral tenants in common as set
out in the petition of said order of de
cree of said sale and the division of
proceeds of said sale will be made
subject to confirmation by the Judge
of the Superior Court of Wilkinson
County, to be held on the First
Monday in October 1931
The undersigned Commisssoners
will execute and deliver to the
purchaser of said lands a deed con
veying said land in fee simple.

Whereas, Rebecca Gallimore did on
the 21st day of April 1928, execute
and deliver to E. M. Cauley, her
deed to secure debt conveying the
lands hereinafter described for the
purpose of securing an indebtedness
amounting to Two Hundred Seven
and 84-100 Dollars, evidenced by a
certain promissory note dated as of
date of the said security deed and due
on the 20th day of September 1928
with interest at the rate of eight (8%)
per annum after maturiiy, which se
curity deed was duly recorded in the
office of the Clerk of the Superior
court of Wilkinson county, Georgia,
in Book 45 page 6”5 on the 20th
dav of February 1929 to which refer
ence is made for exact terms and
conditions.
Whereas, the said security deed re
ferred to provided that if the said
grantor failed to pay the sums afore
said at maturity then the said E. M,
Cauley, or his legal representatives
or assigns, might sell at public outcry
before the court house door of the
county in which said real estate is sit
uated, to the highest bidder for cash,
all of the said property described in
said deed, for the purpose of enlorc
ing pavment of said indebtedness, af
ter advertising the time, place and
terms of sale in any newspaper pub
lished in said county once a week for
four weeks prior to the date of sale;
and,
Whereas, Rebecca Gallimore de
faulted in the payment of said princi
pal sum and further failed and re
fused to pay State and County taxes
on said property for the year 1928 in
the sum of *4.85, which amount was
paid by Nathan Cannon, and there
remains due on said loan the the sum
of $207.84 with interest from Sep
tember 20th 1928, at the rate of 8%
per annum; unpaid taxes for the year
1928 of $4.85 and,
Whereas, E. M. Cauley did on the
9th day of May 1931, transfer, set
over and assign to Nathan Cannon, of
Wilkinson county, Georgia, the se
curity deed herein referred*to, togeth
er with the lands and property there
in described and the note and indebt
edness secured with the right to pro
ceed thereon and to foreclose said
security deed in the same manner as
E. M. Cauley might or could do,
which assignment is duly of record in
the office of the Clerk of the Superior
court of Wilkinson county, Georgia,
in Book 50 page 199. to which refer
ence is made for its exact terms and
conditions-
Now, therefore, the undersigned, as
the assignee of E. M. Cauley under
the power of sale contained in the
security deed referred to above, will
sell at public outcry before the court
house door of Wilkinson county.
Georgia, during the legal hours of
sale, on the first Tuesday in July,
next, to the highest bidder for cash,
the following described property, to
wit: All that tract or parcel of land,
lying and being in the 23 land dis
trict of Wilkinson county, Georgia,
being part of Lot No, 178, contain
ing fifty acres, more or less, and
bounded as follows: On Northeast by
Penny winkle Branch; on Southeast
by lands of G. E. Chapman; On
Southwest by Danville-Irwinton
public road and lands of A. J.
Knight; Northwest by lands of J. F.
Williams estate. The above being
the same lands deeded to Rebecca
Gallimore by G. E. Chapman, said
deed being of record in Book of
Deeds No 41 cages 50-51.
Said property will be sold for the
ourpose of paying the indebtedness
referred to above, together with the
costs of this proceeding, as provided
in said security deed, and a
conveyance will be executed to the
purchaser by the undersigned, as
authorized by said deed.

the election of members thereof; to
provide for their removal from office;
to provide their powers and duties; to
provide for their compensation, and
for other purposes approved August
16, 1909, Acts 1909, page 480 and
the Acts amendatory thereof.
