To the people of Wilkinson county:
Four years ago I ran for Clerk of

tha expense of one race and if my
friends will stick with me I can win,
I need to win. I have the best of
feeling toward the present Clerk and
the bther two candidates, I consider
Mr Boone has made a good clerk. If
the people elect me I promise to make
you as good a clerk as he, or even
better if I can. I will do my best.
lam a candidate for Clerk of Su
perior court.
Respectfully submitted,
Chandler Dennard.
For County School
Superintendent
To the Voters and patrons of Wilkin
son County Schools':
I have done my best to fill the un
expired term of Rev. J. L. Lawrence,
whom you voted for to serve as County
School Supt., in the last primary. I
think that you have the right to know
what advancements have been made.
We have operated on between four and
five thousand dollars each year Jess
than our income. We have not been
ab/e to pay all of the eighteen thous
and dollars that the county owed when
we came into office, but today, if the
State would pay what they* owe us. we
would have a few thousand dollars to
the good.
This was made possible by the co
operation of the Board of Education,Lo
cal Trustees, Teachers and Patrons. The
Patrons, I think, have played a large
part. You seut your children to school
regular. That gave us more money
from the Euualizatiou Fund. In re
turn you have received nine months
school for your children and a ten per
cent raise in teachers salaries.
That is the very best that I could do.
lam no politician. Yet I have enjo^ ed
serving you as School Supt. Being a
married man with-four children, hav
ing received my High School Diploma
and College Degree after I married, it
was easy for me to become deeply in
terested in the education of all the
children in the county.
I am now offering my service to yoii
as the man of your choice, subject
to your endorsement at the poPs on
March 9th.
I will appreciate the support of ev
ery patron and voter and promise if
elected to do my best to discharge my
whole duty, which I am in better po
sition to do since I am now located at
Irwinton.
