Under and by virtue of a power of
sale yested in the undersigned by
deed made and delivered to it by Ben
jamin D. Yancey, dated June 28th
1921, and recorded in the Office of
the Clerk of the Superior court of
Wilkinson county, (eorgia, in book
37, folio 584-5, the undersigned will
sell at public outery to the highest
bidder for cash, oa the Fourth Tues
day in April, 1932, before the court
house door at Irwinten, Wilkinson
county, Georgia, between the legal
hours of sheriff’s sales, the following
described property, to-wit:
All that tract or parcel of land sit
uate, lying and being in the 3rd land
district (Griffin’s Militia district) of
the county of Wilkinson, State of
Georgia, consisting of One hundred &
fifty-four (154) acres, more or less,
off the north side of land lot Number
Thirty-three (33) (known as vart of
the Butler estate); fifty (50) acres,
more or less, on the south side of land
lot Number fifty-four (54) (known as
part of the Burke estate) and twenty
(20) acres, more or less, of land lots
Numbers twenty-seven (27) and thir
ty-two (82) (known as part of the
Ashley lands). The whole lying in
one body of Two hundred & twenty
(220) acres, more or less, bounded
north by lands of H. li. Batler; east
by lands of J. M, Hall and J. Q
Cauley; south by lands of J, B. But
ler; west by lands of J. F. Payne. -
Being the same lands conveyed by
warranty deed from J. B. Butler to
Benjamin D. Yancey (named in said
deed B D, Yancey), dated April
30(h, 1921, recorded in book 30, page
549, office Clerk superior court. Wil
kinson county, Georgia, and whereon
the said Benjamin D. Yancey now
resides. (Description as of date of
June, 1921),
Said land will be sold as the prop
erty of said Benjamin D. Yancey to
pay the indebtedness referred toin
said deed and more particularly de
scribed as follows:
One principal note for the sum of
One thousand & 00-100 dollars, dat
ed June 28th; 1921, on account of
which a payment of $400.C0 has been
made, with interest on the balance of
$600.00 from October llst. 1930, to
April 26th, 1932, at the rate of 8%
per annum; also one interest coupon
executed in connection with a five
year extension in the time of payment
of the principal, which coupon is for
the sum of $36.00, dated November
10th, 1926, and due October Ist, 1930
with interest thereon from maturity
to April 26¢h, 1932, at therate of 8 %
per annum; also all eXpenses of this
proceeding. Said notes being made
and delivered to the undersigned by
the said Benjamin D. Yancey and
the amount of principal and interest
due to day of sale being $715 85, to
gether with the cost of this proceed
ing. Default having been made in
the payment of the debt to secure
which said deed was given, the power
of sale contained insaid deed has
become operative. The proceeds of
. said sale will be applied first to the
payment of said indebtedness, and
. the balance, if any. paid to the said
. Benjamin D, Yancey, or his legal
representative,
A deed to the parchaser will be
~ made by the undersigned in accord
ance with the terms of said deed.

said J. A. Speats,
deceased, to be and appear at the May
Term 1932, of the Court of Ordinaly of
Wilkinson County, to show cause, if
any they have or can, why the
administration of sxid estate should not
be vested in Alex S. Boone, the County
Administrator, or some other fit and
proper person.
