On March 1, 1933, the present
Board of County Commissioners were
faoed with an almost empty treasury.
It was necessary for them to pledge
their personal credit in order to ob- 1
tain the supplies necessary to carry
on the work of the chain gang. Their
first acts were to make drastic cuts
in the salaries of county employees
and to reduce exeenses in every way
possible. I am asking the support
of the voters of the countv in the
coming primary.
