GEORGIA Wilkinson County.
Pursuant to an order from the court
of Ordinary of Wilkinson county,
Georgia, issued on the first Monday
to September. 1935, authorizing the
sale of the property hereinafter de
scribed, there will be sold before the
court house door at Irwinton, of said
county, on the first Tuesday in Jan
’ary, 1936, during the legal hours of
de to the highest bidder for cash the
bllowing described property:
All that tract or parcel of land ly
ing and being in the town of Irwinton,
Georgia, Wilkinson county, and be
ing the same land deeded to grantors
by Rebecca Gordy on the Sixth dav
of May, 1901, containing one quarter
of an acre, more or less, and bounded
on the north by the old public road or
street, on the east by E. Johnson; on
the south by the lands of G. W, Ev
erett: and on the west by Rebecca
Gordy lands Said lot having a
frontage of fiftv-two and one-half
feet, and running back to old street
or lands of Everett, two*hundred and
twenty feet.
Also all that tract or parcel of land
lying and being in the town of Ir
winton, known as “Town Common’’
containing one acre, more or less,
bounded as follows; On the east by
the lauds of Mattie Collins; on the
north-east by lands of Will Cum
mings and lands formerly owned by
Dr. W. H. Parker; on the west by
the lands formerly owned by Dr. W.
H. Parker and on the south by the
public road to an Iron Stake. Said
tract being part of the lands known
as the old Dave Howell place Being
part of the same lands formerly own
ed by Dr. W. H. Parker, purchased
from Lawrence Lowther by warranty
deed dated March 29tb, 1922.
Also all that tract or parcel of land
lying and being in the town of Irwin
ton, Wilkinson county, Georgia, con
taining one acre, more or less, and
bounded on the north by lands of
Will Cummings, on the south by
street, and on west by lands of Luci
us Grimes; and being part of the
Irene and David Howell lands.
Said lands will be sold as the prop
erty of the estate of Lealand Reeves,
deceased, for the purpose of paying
debts and distribution among the
heirs of deceased

Because of the default in the pay
ment of the indebtedness described in
a certain deed with power of sale
from Mrs Mary Lee Parker to Mrs
Eula Byington dated November 1930,
and recorded in Deed Book 50, page
141, office of the Clerk of the supe
rior court, Wilkinson county. Georgia,
the undersigned, acting under the
power of sale contained in said deed
for the purpose of paying said indebt-
edness. will sell on the First Tuesday
in January, 1936, during the legal
hours of sale in front of the court
house in Irwinton, said county, at
public outcry to the highest bidder
for cash the following described lands
known as the W. H. Parker Mcln
tyre Place, lying and being in the
327th District G. M , Wilkinson coun
ty, Georgia, containing 250 acres,
more or less, and being in two tracts,
the Donaldson Pace containing 100
acres, more or less, bounded by lands
of the J S. Wood place, the lands of
Mrs B. Asbell and others.
The other tract containing 150
acres, more or less, and being bound
ed by the J. S. Wood Estate, lands
of W. R. Helton, Central of Georgia
Railwaj* Company, W. M. Deason es
tate, Commissioner Creek and lands
of H A. Walden.
The undersigned will execute a
deed to the purchaser as authorized
by the aforesaid deed with power of
sale.

Under and by virtue of the power
contained in a certain security deed
executed by W K. Goodwin to Mrs
Ed Ward on the 28ih day of Decem
ber 1933, and recorded in the Clerk’s
office of Wilkinson Superior Court in
Book sj, page 107 8, the undersign
ed will sell at public sale, at the court
house door of said county, during the
legal hours of sale, to the highest
bidder for cash, on the first Tuesday
in January 1936, the following de
scribed property, to wit:
All that tract or parcel of land,
lying and being in the City of Gor
don, Wilkinson county, Georgia,
containing two (2) acres of land in
said town and county, and known as
part, of the old Smith place, and
bounded as follows: On the north by
lands of C. C. Johnson; on the east
by lands of Mrs Calvin Pitts (known
as the old Smith house lot); on the
west by lands of C, C. Johnson, and
on the south bv anew street k nO wn
as Smith street. There being a one
story frame dwelling situate thereon.
Said property is being sold for the pur
pose of paying 128 certain promissory
notes, ail bearing date of December
28th. 1933, and executed by W. K.
Goodwin to Mrs Ed Ward, and being
for the sum of $16.00 each, and ma
turing on the 28th day of each month
from date thereon, default having
been made in payment of said notes,
the grantee in said security deed hav
ing declared all of said notes due and
payable, as provided in said security
deed. The total amount due on said
notes being $2048 00 principal, be
sides the interest and costs of these
proceedings as provided in said secur
ity deed.
W. K. Goodwin haying died since
the execution of said security deed,
