Memphis. Mrs. Bill Murdock and

maids.
Weathers chose as his best
man his.brother, J. A. weathers
Jr. of Kaieigh. The usners were
Doyle Holliman, brother of tne
bride. Memphis, Art Weber and
L. F Pursley of t lover, S. C.
The bride wore a white nylon
tulle dress fashioned with fitted t
crushed bodice and trimmed with
swiss embroidered flowers, bhe
wore long matching mitts and
head-dress emoroidered with
bridal pearls, fium which de
pended her waist-length veil of
imported bridal illusion.
Her bouquet was of white or
chids surrounded by lilies-of-the
valley and stephanotis. She also
carried a lace handkerchief that
the late Mrs. Alice Cathcart car
ried to President Cleveland’s in
augural Ball in the Pension Build
ing. Washington, D. C-, March
4, 1893. The handkerchief was
willed to a daughter of Mrs. ( ath
cart, Mrs. M. E Thomas of Vine
land, N J. who also carried it at
her wedding in Day ton. Ohio in
19j6 Mrs. inomas and urs. Cath
cart both being close friends of
the Hollinlan family.
The maid of honor and bride
maids wore matching dresses of
mauve crystallette, off-shoulder
bodices and full ballerina skirts.
They carried Colonial bouquets
of harmonizing giant mums.
Huge paims, white chrysanthe
mums gladioli, stock, smilax and
carnations with many glowing ta
pers decorated the church.
Reception
The wedding recepticn was
held at the home of the bride’s
parents, where the living room
was decorated with fall flowers,
giant mums, glads, stock, ferns
and magnolia leaves. Colors in
the dining room were white and
green. T fie table was covered
with white satin and nylon net.

bride and groom, was encircled
with ruffle nylon net. lace ferns
and white carnations. The triple
candelaora on either end held
tall white candles. Mrs. Ralph
Culpepper Jr of Irwinton kept
the Bride’s Book.
Later, when the couple left for
a wedding trip the bride wore
for traveling a light blue wool
suit with navy hat and accesso
ries and a white orchid corsage.
The couple will live in ( har
lotte where the groom is connec
ted with Kendall Mihs.

We found 38 true bills and 4 no
biils.
We, the Committee appointed to
inspect the Public Works Camp sul
mit the following report: We lied the
Building, administration, saniiauon,
and food good. We also found 4 Mo
tor Graders, 3 in running condition,
and one unner repair; 1 CD Tractor
and pan; 3 dump trucks; 1 flat buoy
t uck; one pickup truck, and 1 pair
oi mules, sufficient tools, and miscel
laneous equipment. We also toumHa

We found 25 colored prisoners, and 4
white prisoners. x

Warden and County Commission lor
an excellent job, and continued im
provement as a Public Works Camp.
