pany, Incorporated, has filed an appli
cation with the Georgia Public Service
Commission for an amendment to its Certi
ficate of Public Convenience and Neces
sity for the construction of additional
telephone facilities in Wilkinson County
to be served from the Company’s Irwin
ton, Georgia exchange, as more speci
fically set forth in the copy of the map
attached to the application and made a
part thereof, pursuant to an Act of the
Georgia Legislature approved February
-17 1950. A copy of the application and
map is on file in the Commission's offices
for the inspection of any interested party.
This application has been assigned for
hearing before the Commission beginn
ing at 10 o’clock AM on December 1,
1954, in the Commission’s hearing room,
417 Atlanta National Building, 50 White
hall Street, SW, Atlanta, Georgia, at
which time anyone interested in this
matter will be afforded an opportunity of
expressing his views.

Incoporated, a new corporation, has filed
applications with the Georgia Public
Service Commission for Certificates of
Public Convenience and Necessity for the
acquisition of the telephone plant and
equipment in the Gordon, Georgia ex
change, the Irwinton, Georgia exchange
ana the 101 l Lines between Gordon,
Toomsboro, Mclntyre and Irwinton now
owned by a partnership composed of
Mr. George H. Carswell, Mr. R. W. Cul
pepper, Si., and Mr. W. L. Council, doing
business as Wilkinson County Telephone
Company of Irwinton, Georgia in Wil
kinson County, Georgia, as more spe
cifically set forth in the copy of the maps
attached to the applications and made a
part thereof, pursuant to an Act oi the

J 4 recipe pastry
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup Karo Syrup
*l4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons melted
butter or margarine
1 cup pecan meats
-Roll pastry M Inch thick. Line a 8-
inch pie pan. Mix remaining ingredi
ents together, adding pecans last.
Pour into pastry shell. Bake in hot
oven (400° F.) 15 minutes; reduce
heat to moderate (350° F.) and bake
80 to 35 minutes longer.
•If salted nuts are used omit salt
in recipe.
