If We Knew Our Need, no. 11-68
Would We Make It Profitable to Us?
Marty men close their minds, brush off the
consequences and are alienated from the
life of God through the ignorance that is in
them, because of the blindness of their
hearts. Eph 4:18. Their eyes they close and
their ears they stop, rather than use them
to uncover their shortcomings and guide
them in the narrow way that leadeth unto
life. Men must act, but they need to have
their eyes open and to realize that they ore
responsible for their acts. Proceeding with
prudence, scrutinizing the reasons for and
the consequences of them. Wisdom is the
principal thing; therefore get wisdom; and
with all thy getting get understanding, Prov.
4:7. God is not willing that any should per
ish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9.
Living by the word and faith in the wisdom
of God; it is the only true wisdom. He that
disregards the wisdom of God, and soweth
to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corrup
tion, but he that has regard for the wisdom
of God, and soweth to the Spirit shall of the
Spirit reap life everlasting. Eph. 6:8. But
where shall wisdom be found? 5 and where is
the place of understanding: 5
Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither
is it found in the land of the living. The
depth saith, it is not in me: and the sea
saith, it is not in me. It cannot be gotten for
gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the
price thereof. It cannot be valued with the
gold of O-phir with the precious onyx, or the
sapphire. The gold and the crystal cannot
equal it; and the exchange of it shall not
be for jewels of fine gold. No mention shall
be made of coral or of pearls; for the price
of wisdom is above rubies. The topaz of
Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it
be valued with pure gold.
Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is
the place of understanding, 5 seeing it is hid
from the eyes of all living, and kept close
from the fowls of the air, destruction and
death, say, we have heard the fame there
of with our ears. God understandeth the way
thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof,
for he looketh to the ends of the earth, and
seeth under the whole heavens; to make the
weight of the winds (low and high pressure)
and he weigheth the waters by measure.
When he made a decree for the rain, and a
way for the lightning of the thunder; then

Two previous workshops

stract” design and Mrs.
did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it,
yea, he searched it out. And to man he said,
behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom,
and to depart from evil is understanding.
Job 28:12 to 28.
There was a man sent from God, whose
name was John, the same came for a wit
ness, to bear witness of the light, that all
men through him might believe (the light).
He was not that light but was sent to bear
witness of the light. That was the true light
that lighteth every man that cometh into
the world (giving them wisdom). John 1:6
to 9. In God's plan for the salvation of men,
the primary thing is said when Jesus made
the statement. I am the light of the world,
he that followeth me shall not walk in dark
ness, but have the light of life. John 8 12
If men do not walk in this light there is no
other salvation for them. Men must take
heed unto his word as unto a light that shin
eth in a dark place until the day dawn, and
the day star arise in their hearts 2 Peter
1:19.
It is through the mercies of God that the
day spring from on high has visited us, to
give light to them which sit in darkness and
in the shadow of death, to guide our feet
in the way of peace. Luke 1:78-79. Men's
alienation from God is cancelled if the day
star has arisen in their hearts. It is this that
Jesus spoke to Nicodemus about when he
told him he must be born again Except ye
be born again ye cannot see the kingdom of
God.
If we expect to receive God's promises, let
us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of
the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in
the fear of God. 2 Cor. 7:1. Do we measure
up! 5 are we filled with all goodness? 5 are we
filled with all knowledge, able also to ad
monish one another? We need the admon
ishing that passes between man and man in
our daily intercourse; even more than we
need the admonishing we get from sermons
from the pulpit. Rom. 15:4.
If we are truly Christians we will be making
manifest the savor of his knowledge in ev
ery place 2 Cor. 2:14. Let us remember
that God who commanded light to shine out
of darkness shines in our hearts to give the
light of the knowledge of the glory of God
in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Cor. 4:6

Notes on
Chiropractic
By DR. HENRY L. FOLEY
There is no quick cure for
dis-ease. Chiropractic does
not aim at a quick cure, but
alms to make you well as
quickly as
possible.
The length
of time it
takes for a
patient to get
well under
Chiro p r a c
tic treatment
dep ends on
the severity
and duration
of the condi-
tion, the age of the patient,
and the elimination of ad
verse medication.
It’s human nature to want
to do things in a hurry, but
too often we forget that the
body undergoes a series of
changes in the disease proc
ess which takes time. It
takes time to retrace these
steps in the process of get
ting well.
Chiropractic leaves and re
lieves your organs where na
ture put them It works in
harmony with nature, and
not against it. It relieves by
removing the cause of the
dis-ease, NOT THE ORGAN.
