The death of Mr. Ben De
loach of College Park Feb. 2 in
an accident, has robbed this
area of a wonderful Christian
citizen and to the family, sin
cere sympathy from all those
who knew him. He will surely
be missed by all.
I'here will be a Spring Fash
ion Show at the College Park
City Auditorium Feb. 10, 7:30
p.m., sponsored by the South
Metro Affiliate No. 49 GMCA.
Admission will be $2.50 per
ticket which will also include a
box supper. Door prizes will be
given away and the proceeds
will go to charity. This group
sponsors some sort of activity
each year to give to charity.
This show will be given to the
Faith, Hope and Charity Hos
pital and to the Mental Health.

from Jacksonville, Fla. Marilyn
was a former student of North
Clayton High School.
Mrs. Linda Lathem and her
two year old daughter, Teresa,
recently made a trip to the
state of Tennessee to pick up
Linda’s mother, Mrs. W.
Haney, who was visiting Mrs.
Haney’s brother, Earl Scar
borough who lives in Chatta
nooga, Tenn.
Sympathy is extended to
the Elliott family of College
Park, who recently lost Mr.
Charles Elliott, son of Mrs.
Bessie Elliott. The Elliott fam
ily live on West Point Ave., in
College Park.
Little Miss Theresa Lathem,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary
Lathem, College Park, cele
brated her second birthday
with a party with all the works.
Friends and family showered
her with the usual goodies and
gifts and the hard task of blow
ing out the two candles and
making the wish was experi
enced by mother as well as
Teresa.

can be proud of the Girl Scouts
not only in Forest Park but in
