Under authority of the powers of sale and convey ance contained in that certain Deed to Secure Debt given by Dallas Woodrum and Brenda A. Dale has been Quarterback for his team for the last four years, this makes the fifth year. He has at tended Reidsville Schools ever since he began school. Dale feels like he's not being treated fair on tha team and says the Lyons game Thurs day will be his last game for the Reidsville B- Team. DALE'S FATHER, JACK WILSON Reidsville Mini Tigers Stop Metter, 14-0 The Reidsville Mini Tigers opened their 1974 season with a 14-0 victory over Metter here Saturday night. The Little Tigers had to depend on good defense as the of fense made too many mis takes to move the ball con sistently. Reidsville's first scoring op portunity came after Metter's opening series. The Tiger de fense held and a bad punt put the Reidsville eleven in busi ness on the Metter 40. The Mini Tigers began a short drive, but a fumble gave Met ter the ball on their own 28. Reidsville lost three more scoring opportunities in the first quarter to fumbles and penalties. The Tigers final ly broke through midway the second quarter when Neal Oli ver rolled 22 yards off right guard. The PAT failed. The Mini Tigers scored again in the third period when George Fleming darted 51 yards off left tackle. The PAT was good and the scor ing was over for the evening. Although the Reidsville of fense did not move consist ently, it was able to make en ough big plays to keep the Ti gers In the game. Outstanding offensive play ers include Mark Crews, John Adams, Dane Glisson, Neal Oliver, George Fleming, Doug las Mincey and Jessie John son.
