Do you think you are better than other people ? Do you think your pretty faces and proud Scottish Mood 1 makes yon so much better than any one else? Why is it, that, some of your aristocratic rich kin don’t* die out, and leave you a fortune? You certainly need it, though, you seem to be fully assured (judging from your ac¬ tions*) that you, with your poverty, are better and above every body , of course, it does not concern us; we don’t care how proud and stuck up you are; we only want to remind you, that (with all your fine city ways, witty sayings, and lofty heads) after all you only be¬ long to the “ Shabby gentell." They too, think, that with all our poverty, we are “ better and above every body.” You see, we have what money can’t buy , and being cognizant of this, our “Kin” don't deem it necessary to “die out.” I‘tu so glad you d-oiVt fret over out being “proud and stuckup,” for it wouldn't do in this warm climate ; a shollow brain might become dreadfully contused, and somebody might have to wear a “Straight jacket.” Now, please don't worry over our fine city ways, witty sayings' aud lofty heads"— that’s bred it tiie bone.” You would remind us Ho.wrvoon.fe® that we belong to the "Sbabby gtnt*i. n ate (ti of ,ou!
