motives in the appointment; and where
is the crime committed in the reigna*

Has not the Goveiior the right ' to tip

»llow me a small space m your vabTaWRttre
pc per to drop only a short note regarding
die great distinction made by the railroads, n
the southeast portion of Georgia towards the
hotels. Mr. Eiiitor, I have traveled all over
the Slate of Georgia and liave slopped at
many lmtls. and have often noticed the
courtesy extended hotels by the train ou the
vmi ms roads, but never have I noticed a
single instance where such management lias
been imposed as there is in the little town
of Jesup, towards the hotels at that place,
It is invariably practiced on all the rail roads
where it has been my privilege to travel, if
there were two hotels to come to a halt im
medially on the half way ground so as to
benefit both as much as possible. I notice in
destip, that the tr in riins clear beyond the
Jesup House (I believe that is what tln-y
call it,) and stop opposite the Altamuha
House, perfectly ignoring the existance of
the other. We know not what for, for we
have stopped at both, and find the Jesup
House in the culinary Departement, far
