Beavers and son, Jack, attended the Ga.-Ala.game in Atlanta Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Nunn left Saturday on a trip to Florida. They will return today (Thurs day). Mr. and Mrs. G E. Jordan will have as their guests from Friday through Sunday their children and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Lane, Chase and Joe Jr.,of Lookout Mountain, Tenn.; Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Davis Jr. and Sandra Davis,of Cleveland,Tenn. Mrs. L. C. Davis Sr., of Mine apolis, Minn., will also be the guest of the Jordans. ‘On Saturday,Mr. and Mrs. Jo rdan will be hosts at a family din ner. In addition to their house guests, they will have Judge and Mrs P. 0. Holliday and sons, Messrs. Pete and Jack Holliday, and Mrs. J. C. McAfee and son, Dargon McAfee, all of Macon, and Mrs. G. S. Riley, of Perry. Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Talton and son, Jimmy, will spend today (Thanksgiving) in Hawkinsville with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. DuPree. Miss Lucile Ryals of Eastman spent several days this week with her sisters, Misses Willie and Allene Ryals. The Misses Ryals will go to Eastman to spend the Thanksgiving holidays. Miss Peggy Ridgeway, student of G. S. C. W., Milledgeville, arrived Wednesday to spend the holidays with her mother, Mrs. Ben Griffies. Miss Carolyn Lewis, student of G. S. C. W., Milledgeville, is spending the holidays at her home at Elko. Mr. and Mrs. J. 0. Coleman, and Miss Carolyn Coleman spent the weekend with relatives near Forsyth, Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Edwards spent Sunday with Dr. and Mrs. R. M. Mitchell at Griffin. Gordon Edwards of Macon is visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Edwards, for several days this week. Mrs. John Williamson and son, John Jr., spent the weekend in Atlanta with relatives. Miss Anna Lee Beavers is spending the holidays in Tuske gee, Ala. as the guest of Miss Harriett McPhaul. Hatßoquemore has re turned to her home at Mansfield after spending a week with her daughter, Mrs. W.A. Curtis, and Mr. Curtis. Miss Laurie Curtis who has been with Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Curtis for a month has returned to her home at Mansfield. Mrs. Lewis Tabor has returned ; from Atlanta where she was a | Patient at Piedmont sanatarium for treatment for a bone injury I in her foot. The Pritchett home was beau tifully decorated with chrysan themums in shades of gold, rust, and yellow. The dining table was centered with an -arrange ment of Briarcliff roses. Fla., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Gilbert. Mr. J, S. Rainey visited rela tives in Jacksonville, Fla. last week. ! Rev. and Mrs. Roy Gardner and children will spend Thurs day and Friday in Reidsville, Ga. with her relatives and Saturday at Oglethorpe, Ga. with hi s mother, Mr. Watt Rainey will go to Mcßae, Ga. Friday to make his home. Mr. and Mrs. P. L. Huggins of Athens will spend Saturday and Sunday with their daughter, Mrs. Carl Huggins, and family. Misses Dorothy and Margaret Newhard, who teach at Dalton, Ga., will spend the holidays at home. Mr. Paschal Muse attended the meeting of the Peach Growers’ association in Macon last Thurs day. Mr. Muse was elected a director of the association. Mr. and Mrs. Will Gilbert will be guests of their daughter,Mrs. Paschal Muse, and family today!
