ley to Mr. Robert Lee Thompson
was solemnized Sunday at the
Perry Baptist pastorium. The

impressive ring ceremony in the
presence of a small group of rel
atives and close Iriends of the
couple.
The bride wore a navy spring
costume with navy accessories.
Her corsage was of pink rose
buds.
Mrs. Thompson is a daughter
of Mr. and Airs. L. E. Allen of
Fort Valley. She attended Fort
Valley High School.
The bride groom is the eon of
Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Thompson
Sr. He received his education
at Perry High School, and is now
owner of the Houston Supply
Store.

The Susannah Wesley class of
the Methodist church held its
April meeting Wednesday last
week at the home of Mrs. J. M.
Gooden with Mrs. Joe Mitchell,

and Mrs. H. E. Evans Jr. as co
hostesses.
The class president, Mrs. Earl
Ogletree, presented the devotion
al, “The Pearl of Great Price”,
and Mrs. M. M. Dean had charge
of the program. Those taking

C. H. Tucker, Miss Pauline Mc-

After the program a delightful
