HALLOWE’EN CARNIVAL
HELD BY PERRY P. T. A
The Hallowe’en Carnival spon
sored by the Perry P. T. A. Fri
day night was a success from
the standpoint of fun and fi
nances. $465 was realized by
the P. T. A.
The attendance was unusually
large. Many adults as well as a
large number of children were
present. The Hallowe’en cos
tumes of the children contribut
ed to the festive spirit of the oc-'
casion. i
The popularity contest was'
won by Helen Cauthon of the 1
ninth grade who received the'
most votes. Jane Riley of the 1
senior class was second and Sue'
Webb of the junior class was'
third in this contest. Other con- 1
teslants selected by their re--
spective grades were Patsy Har i
ris of the eighth and Jean Pierce)
of the seventh.
