his mother, Mrs. Eva Spencer.

Rucker, Ala. spent the weekend
in Perry.

with the U. S. Navy and located
at Camp Peary, Va. His brother,
Corp. Truman Gamel, is now in
England. Their mother, Mrs.
Violet Gamel, is making her
home in Waycross, Ga. now.
Mrs. E. H. Wimberly has re
turned from a recent visit to At
lanta where she was the guest of
her daughter, Mrs. Grady Poole,
and family. Mrs. R. A. Bowen,
of Macon, and her niece, Miss
Adelaide Bowen, a student of
Wesleyan Conservatory, spent
Friday with Mr, and Mrs. Wim
berly.
T. Sgt. N. M. Parker Jr., Mrs.
Parker and their baby son, Nor
man 111, arrived Monday for a
visit with their parents, Mr. and
Mrs. N. M. Parker Sr. and Mr,
and Mrs. C. P. Gray. Mrs.
Parker and the baby will be here
for some time.
Mrs. G. E. Jordan, Mrs. Irene
Eden, and Mrs. A. H. Lawler
left Tussday for Hot Springs,
Ark. to spend three weeks.

Tuesday in Albany, Ga.

urday afternoon in Fitzgerald,
Ga. were honored with a buffet,
supper Sunday night by his par- 1
ents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Tabor,
at their home. Guests were
the children and grandchildren
of the hosts: Mr. and Mrs. F.
H. Tabor and children, Mr. and
Mrs. L, W. Tabor and children,
Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Gray and
Janet Gray, Mrs. Marvin Griffin
and children, and the honorees.
The bridal couple were enter
tained at Sunday dinner by Mr.
and Mrs. W. S. Gray.
The groom returned Monday
to Camp McCain, Miss, and the
bride to G. S. C. W., Milledge
ville, where she is a senior. She
was Miss Elizabeth Powell of
Fitzgerald. 1
