were guests of Mrs. Evans on
Tuesday last week.
Mr. Sam N. Hodges of Atlanta
spent the weekend with Mr. and
Mrs. John L. Hodges,
Mrs. W. M. Bryant returned
recently from a two weeks visit
with her sister, Mrs. A. S.
Horne, in Montgomery, Ala.
Mr. and Mrs, Hugh Lawson
spent the weekend in Atlanta.
While they were away, Mrs.

with the Lawson children.

13, who has been named James
LeConte Walton. Mrs. Walton
was Miss Gwendolyn Irby of
Perry before her marriage. Mrs.
A. B. Irby is visiting her daugh
ter and family in Jacksonville.

daughter, Grace, of Atlanta, vis
ited his sister, Mrs. L. M. Paul
Jr., Friday.

of Miss Dotty Dean and Capt.
John Zuck in Moultrie. Miss
Paul is spending this week in

Miss Betty Snow, her room-mate
at Brenau College, Ga,
Mrs. J. V. Wallace Sr. of At

Mrs. S. G. Rogers left Tuesday
for her home in Miami, Fla. af
ter a visit with her mother, Mrs,
N. C. Wellons. Mrs. H. T. Gil
bert accompanied Mrs. Rogers to
Miami for a visit.

ing from a recent operation.

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Chapman
have received word that their
son, Cpl. Harris K. Chapman,
who has been on the island of
Corsica, is scheduled to come
home soon for a visit.
The teachers and officers of the
Baptist Sunday school had a
meeting at the church Tuesday
night. The B. T. U. committees
met at the church preceding the
£. S. meeting.
