Mr and Mrs. L.C. Walker and
son, Larry, are spending Thurs
day and Friday with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. David Walker, in
Warthen. They will spend the
weekend in Atlanta.
Mr. and Mrs. Mayo Davis and
daughter, Billie, spent the week
end in Columbus, Ga. and at
tended the Georgia-Auburn foot
ball game.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen C. Pritch
ett are entertaining members of
the Pritchett and Beckham fam
ilies at a Thanksgiving dinner
today. Sixty have been invited.

Ark. where they spent two
weeks.

sons, Dan and Johnny Blackstock,
and nephew, Tuck Ansley, of
Sau Paula, Brazil spent last week
with Mrs. W. B. Evans and Miss
Martha Cooper.
Miss Marie Armstrong,student
of G. S. W. C., Valdosta, spent
the weekend with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Armstrong,
at Clinchfield.
Mrs. L.R. Bryson of Jefferson,
Ga. is visiting her daughter, Mrs.
Joe Beddingfield, and family.
Wendell Taylor, student of M.
G. C., Cochran, will be at home
for the Thanksgiving holidays.

Rev. J, A. Ivey was called to
St. Augustine, Fla. Saturday by
the death of his brother. Ansley
Jordan, student of Mercer Uni
versity, occupied the pulpit at
the Perry Baptist church Sunday
in the absence of the pastor.
Mrs. L. F. Cater was the guest
of Mrs. J. M. Gooden Tuesday
night. She was enroute from
Atlanta to St. Marys, Ga.
Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Duggan and
children, Mary Kathryn and Ed
mund.are spending today (Thurs
day) with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. J. E. Duggan, in Hawkins
ville.
Miss Anna Lee Beavers, stu
dent of Huntingdon College,
Montgomery, Ala. was at home
for the weekend.
Pvt. Emmett Cater of Fort
Jackson, S, C. and Mrs. Cater of
Hawkinsville visited Mrs. R. L.
Cater Sunday.

New York City to spend several
months with her daughter, Miss
Frances Foster.
Miss Betty Goodem student of

spending Thanksgiving at home.
She will go to Atlanta Friday to

and attended the Tech.-Notre
Dame football game Saturday.
