YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE
HOLIDAY PARTIES
The American Legion Auxili
ary gave several parties during
the holidays for the children and
young people of Perry at the Le
gion Home.
On Thursday night. Dec. 21,
, the teachers and grade mothers
of the sixth, seventh, and eighth.
, grades were assisted by t h e
Auxiliary in giving these grades
a Christmas party. Mrs. Joe
Mitchell and Mrs. A.C. Pritchett
were general chairmen.
On Friday morning. Dec. 22,
the third, fourth, and fifth grade
. mothers and teachers assisted
the Auxiliary members in hav
i ing a Christmas Tree party with
Santa Claus present.
Monday night, Dec. 25, the
1 Auxiliary gave a dance for the
high school group and their
■ friends. Chaperones were Mrs.
B. H. Andrew Jr., Mrs. J. B,
Calhoun, and Mrs. W.E. Marshall.
Tuesday night, Dec. 26, the
Junior group of Legionnaire’s
children and their friends were
• given a Christmas party. Chap
erones were Mrs. Joe Mitchell,

C. Pierce. Other Auxiliary mem
bers assisted in entertaining.
Thursday night, Dec. 28, the
