group had a party at the Legion
Home Saturday night. Miss

Gooden were chaperones,Soldiers
from Robins Field were guests.

I daughter, Elizabeth, are in the
home of Mr, and Mrs. T. D. Ma
son Sr. while Pvt. Thomas D.
Mason Jr. is in the service.
Mrs. Annie Meadows is visit
ing her son, Mr. Jerry Meadows,
and family in Ocala, Fla.
Mrs. W. D. White and daugh
ters, Betty Joyce, Jerralyn, and
Pam, of Americas were guests of
Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Mason for
the weekend.
Miss Sara McElhenny and
Miss Lillie Brooks began nurses’
training at the Macon Hospital,
Macon, this week.
Miss Annis Jean NeSmith, stu
dent of G. S. W. C., Valdosta,
was at home for the weekend.
Mr. Dallas Ryle, student of
Georgia Tech., Atlanta, was at
home for the weekend.
Billy Lee, son of Mrs. Bessie
Lee, enlisted in the U. S, Navy
Monday. He will be at home
several weeks until called into
training.
