for awhile to be near Lt. H. E.
Evans Jr. who is stationed at

Miss Sprouli attended Georgia
Southwestern College and Geor
gia Teachers College. She is
now a member of the faculty of
Perry High school,
Mr. Barfield attended Middle
Georgia College and Georgia
Teachers College. At present
he is engaged in the furniture
and grocery business in Perry.

Elizabeth Fountain and William
Thomas Williams, of Sycamore.
On his paternal side his grand
parents are Laura Elizabeth Bar-, 1
field and the late Arthur Francis
Barfield, of Fitzgerald, former
citizens of Houston county.

ville paid tribute to the late
President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

ville gave a musical reading of
“Crossing the Bar.”
Mrs. Henry Watson of Haw
kinsville played an accordion so
