panied their son to Cleveland and
are on a vacation trip to the
mountains of Tennessee and
North Carolina.
Miss Mary Paul has accepted
a position as teacher of the fifth
grade in t h e Warner Robins
grammar school.
Mr. Walter Gray Jr. visited
friends in Atlanta last week.

cepted a position on the ‘faculty

Cochran.

turned Sept. 4 from two years
service in the Pacific war area.
Cpl. Rainey saw action in New
Guinea, The Philippines, and

discharged from the Army at
Fort McPherson, Ga. on Sept. 9

day for Lamar, Colo, where she
will visit with the relatives of
her fiance, Capt. Frederick E.
Dole. Miss Griggs’ marriage to
Capt. Dole will take place in
Colorado Springs, Colo, on Sep
tember 15.
Billy Watts, Talbotton, Ga., is
spending several days with Mr.
and Mrs. J. L, Hodges.
Mrs. Felton Norwood visited
her sister, Mrs. W. M. Miller,
and family in Spartanburg, N.C.
