Brown flew 38 combat missions over Okinawa, Sakishima, and the China coast in a torpedo bomber as a member of the Navy’s Com posite Squadron 98. Rev. Robert Hicks of Davis boro, Ga. spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G, W. Hicks. Mrs. Louise Enloe of Atlanta is visiting her sister, Mrs. C. G. Harris, and Mr. Harris, Rev, J. A. Ivey attended the Ebenezer Association Wednesday at Jeffersonville, to represent the Co-operative Program of the Ga. Baptist Convention, Jackie Beavers, student of M, G. C., Cochran, was at home for the weekend. Miss Annis Jean NeSmith, stu dent of M. G. C., Cochran, Ga. was at home for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Blow and son, Billy, of Miami, Fla. were guests of his sister, Mrs. H. E. Gordon, and family last week. Chief Electrician Harry Griggs, U. S. N. R., received an honor able discharge last week from the U. S. Navy at Jacksonville, Fla. after S}4 years of service including one year in the Pacific war area. Gene Ethridge, Frank Satter field, LewTs Bledsoe, Bobby Spencer, and David Wynne, stu dents of North Ga. College, Dah lonega, were at their respective homes for the weekend. Pvt. Jesse Thompson, U. S. Army, is visiting his mother, Mrs. Thompson, and sister, Mrs. Frank Douglas. Mrs. L. R. Bryson of Jeffer son, Ga. is visiting her daughter, Mrs. J, A. Beddingfield, and family. Dallas M. Ryle Jr. returned to Georgia Tech., Atlanta, Ga. Thursday to begin work on the second semester of his sopho more year. Miss Mary Paul spent the weekend in Atlanta. Miss Editha Barnes, school su pervisor, spent several days this week in Atlanta attending a con ference. Mrs. H. A. of Brook land, Arkansas is visiting her daughter, Mrs. H. F.
