FT I Marshall Jr., club president, wel-1 corned the visitors, which in-1 eluded the Sorosis club and Mrs. Maddox and Mrs. F’itzgerald of Rochelle, and a new member, Mrs. Joe Mitchell. Mrs. Mashburn spoke on “Reading, Its Peculiar Pleasur es.” She urged that children be taught the love of good literature j .while young, taking her audi ence with her down the memory I ! lane of literature and back to preseitday study club work.
