Houser, Hentz Housor, Mrs. T. W. Hentz, Miss Louise Houser, and Mrs. Henry Holcombe visited Mrs. F. M. Houser at Piedmont hospital in Atlanta Sunday. Mrs. Holcombe remained in Atlanta this week with her husband’s relatives. Mr. and Mrs. W. C, Massee and daughter, Keith,of Milledge-I ville, Ga. and Mr. Harry Brown of Daytona Beach, Fla spent Sunday with Mrs. Eliza C. Massee. Corp. James L. Hudson has received an honorable discharge from the U. S. Army after 20 months service. He’s returned to Perry to join his wife and three children and make their home. Carolyn Moody attended the Georgia—Auburn game in Co lumbus, Ga. Saturday. Miss Editha Barnes will spend the Thanksgiving holidays in Miiledgeville, Ga. Miss Betty Boler came home from G. S. C. W., Miiledgeville, for the weekend, , Mr. and Mrs. Sam Nunn and, children, Betty and Sam Jr.,| spent Sunday in Cordele with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Cannon. Mr. and Mrs, G. C. McDonald of Miami, Fla. was the guest of Mrs. Marx Kunz Thursday and Friday last week. Joyce Andrew spent the week end in Atlanta as the guest of Betty McAnally. Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Kezar of Elko will have as their guests Thursday and Friday her sisters, Mrs. Hector Cameron of Jack sonville, Fla. and Mrs. Pearl Hyde of Miiledgeville, Ga. Miss Marie Armstrong who teaches at Cochran, Ga. was at home for the weekend. Mrs. J. Wesley Calhoun Jr. spent the weekend in Atlanta to be with her husband, Capt. Cal houn, who was at Fort McPher son, Ga. where he received his j honorable discharge from the U. I S. Army after 4p2 years of ser vice, three years of which was in the Pacific war area. Cpl. Harris Chapman has re ceived an honorable discharge j from the U. S. Army after 4| years of service; 28 months of! which was in the European war theatre and 8 months in the Pa cific theatre. He is in Perry with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. U. P, Chapman, Ist Lt. Frank Daniel, who re turned recently from three years service overseas, is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Dan iel. He served in the Canal Zone and then with the U. S. First Army in Europe. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Harper and . family spent several days last! week here with his mother, Mrs. 1 Bright Harper. They were en-. route from Decatur, Ala. to 1 Jacksonville, Fla. to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Pritchett were called to Barnesville, Ga. Tuesday on account of the criti cal illness of his mother. Mrs. J. L. Pritchett, Mr. and Mrs, J, P. Duggan will have as their guests Thanks giving Day these relatives: Mr. D. E. Duggan Sr., Mr. D.
