CHARTER » GEORGIA, —Houston County; To the Superior Court of said County, and to the Honorable Mallory C. Atkinson, Judge of; the Superior Court of said County: Mayo Davis, C. C. Pierce, and 1 W. T. Mobley, hereinafter called { applicants, bring this application for the granting of a charter for a private corporation, and re spectfully show to the Court the following facts; 1. Applicants desire for them selves, their associates, and suc cessors, to be incorporated under the name of DAVIS WARE HOUSE COMPANY. 2. The principal office and place jof business of said corporation I shall be located in Houston Coun j ty, Georgia, but applicants de sire the privilege of establishing branch offices and places of busi ness elsewhere. 3. Applicants are residents of and the post office address of each applicant is: Perry, Georgia. 4. The purpose and object of said corporation is pecuniary gain and profit to its shareholders, 5. I store, shell, handle, haul, buy and sell, and to process and otherwise manfacture products from and of, cotton, cottonseed, corn, peanuts, pecans, grains, feedstuffs, and all other farm products; to buy and sell, and to manufacture, mix and process seeds, feedstuffs, fertilizers, in noculations, insecticides, and cultures: to test and treat seeds; to own and operate farms; to buy and sell horses, mules, cattle,and hogs and other livestock; to buy and sell and repair farm machin ery, tools and equipment of all, kinds; to buy and sell all manner! of farm supplies; to operate trucks for hire; to do all acts and things necessary, proper, and or usually incident to any one, more or all of the businesses enumerat ed herein; to act as agent for others in doing all acts and things necessary, proper, and or '.usually incident to any one, more) I or all of the businesses enumerat ed herein. 6 Applicants desire that said cor- j 'poration shall have all powers and enjoy all the privileges enumerated in Sections 22—1827 'and 22—1828 of the Code of (Georgia Annotated, and all of the powers and privileges enumerat ed therein are made a part here of to the same extent as if they were named and set forth herein. 7. The time for which said cor poration is to have existence is thirty-five (35) years. 8. The amount of capital stock with which said corporation will begin business shall be Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00), either in cash or in other assets or a combination of the two, to be divided into one hundred and fifty (150) shares of common stock of the face or par value of One Hundred Dollars ($100,00) per share. Applicants desire the privilege of increasing the capi tal stock of said corporation to a maximum of one thousand (1,000) shares,any such additional shares to be either common or preferred stock as may be determined by a majority vote of the common stock outstanding at the time of such increase of the par value of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per share and any preferred stock to have such characteristics and to be entitled to such privi leges as may be determined by a majority vote of the common stock outstanding at the time subject, however, to the pro visions of any preferred stock which may have been issued previously. WHEREFORE, applicants pray to be incorporated under the name and style aforesaid with all the rights, powers and privileges herein set forth and such additional rights, powers and privileges as may be neces sary, proper, or incident to the conduct of the business for which japplicatns are asking incorproa tion and as may be inherent in or allowed like corporations un der the laws of Georgia as they now exist or may hereafter exist A.
