HAS MISSION SI UDY
The WSCS of the Methodist
Church held an all-day meeting
at the church Monday, combin
jing the monthly business session
and the mission study.
Mrs, G. C. Nunn had charge
of the Mission study, which was
in keeping with the National
Home and Family Week. Mrs.
G. W Hicks gave the devotional,
"The Children. Our Hope of the
Future.” Others participating
j were Mrs. A. W. Dahlberg, Mrs,
Frank King, Mrs. It. E. Smith
and Mrs. W. V. Tuggle.

worker, described the activities
of her department in Houston

According to a new law in regard to a person
being qualified to vote for the 1946 election, it
seems that every voter whose name was not on
the qualified voter’s list tor the November elec
tion ot 1944 will necessarily have to register again
by or before July 5, 1946.
