Ordinary of said County, granted
at the June Term, 1946, of the'
Ordinary’s Court of said County,
there will be sold before the
courthouse door of said County,,
iin Perry, Georgia, on the first

the legal hours of sale, to the |
highest and best bidder for cash,

the Estate cf E. D. Howard, de
ceased, to-wit:
All that tract or parcel of land
;in the Upper Town District of!
Houston County, Georgia, in the
town of New Hope, near Perry,
Georgia, bounded on the north
by Hannah Brown lot; on the
south by the James lot and bal
j ance of the Oliver lot; east by |
i lots of E. 1). Howard; and west
by lot of Bella Riley; said tract
containing one acre, more or less,
being the same property convey
ed in deed recorded in Deed
Book 35, page 572, Clerk’s Of
fice, Houston Superior Court.
Also, all that tract or parcel of
iand lying and being in the 13th
District of Houston County,
Georgia, located about one and
one-half miles southwest of Per
ry, Georgia, between the Nation
al Highway and the Perry and
Elko public road, same being all
of lots Numbers Twelve (12) and
Thirteen (13), being a part of
what is known as the Blood
worth. Beckham and Nunn Sub
division, recorded in Map Book
1, page 212, in the Clerk’s Of
fice of Houston Superior Court.
Also, all that tract or parcel of
land in the 13th District of
Houston County, Georgia, locat
ed about one and one-half miles
southwest of Perry, Georgia,
between the National Highway
and the Perry and Elko public
road, same being all of lot Num
ber Ten, except that part of said
lot sold by J. A. Wasner in his
lifetime to Eliza Slappey, and
except that part of said lot sold
by the said J. A. Wasner to
Mary Bonner; also lot Number
Eleven (11); both of said lots
being a part of what is known as
the Bloodworth, Beckham and
Nunn Subdivision, recorded in
Map Book 1, page 212, in the
Clerk’s Office of Houston Supe
rior Court.
Also, all that tract or parcel of
land in the village of CMnchfield,
Houston County. Georgia, being
two acres of land and having lo
cated thereon a five-room resi
dence; bounded on the north by
land formerly owned by Duncan
and Nunn; south and west by
land of W. F. Woolfolk; and
east by Dixie Highway leading
from Perry to Hawkinsville.
Also, all that one acre of land,
more or less, in the Upper Town
District of Houston County,
Georgia, said acre being 22 feet
wide and extending back from
Fort Valley road the same width
to lands owned by A. F, Smith;
said acre being 88 feet from the
middle of the road leading from
the Fort Valley road through the
town of New Hope; said lands
bounded north by lands formerly
owned by John Smith; south by
lands of Timothy Roberts; east
by Fort Valley road; and west
by lands of A. F. Smith; and be
ing the same land conveyed to
H. A. Hunt by County Commis
sioners of Roads and Revenue of
of Houston County, Georgia, by
deed dated June 2, 1934, and re
corded in Deed Book 45, page
439, in Clerk’s Office of Houston
Superior Court.
Also, all that tract or parcel of
land in the town of New Hope,
a suburb of Perry, Houston
County, Georgia, being one-half
() acre of land, more or less,
and having located thereon a
three-room residence and known
as the old Oliver lot; bounded on
the north by a street: east by a
street: and west by lot formerly
owned by Jake Jones; being the
same land as described in Deed
Book 39, page 3, Clerk’s Office,
Houston Superior Court.
Also, all of the south half of
that one (1) acre of land in what
is known as New Hope in the
Upper Town District of Houston
County, Georgia, on the old Fort
Valley road being the place
whereon Sealy Nixon lived at the
time of her death, and being the
south half of that one acre of
land conveyed by J. W, Clark to
Sealy Nixon and her children.
Also, a certain tract of land
containing one (1) acre, more or
less, in New Hope, Houston
County, Georgia, and known as
the Beavers lot, and separated
from the lot owned and occupied.
