soring the dance, and Miss Eve
ilyn Hunt assisted in entertaining.

morning at the Perry Baptist
church with the Rev. James A.
Ivey officiating.
Miss Sara Ivey played the
wedding music. The church was
decorated with palms and white
gladio i a .d southern smilax,
Miss Jo Alice Moody, only sis
ter of the biide, and Miss Evelyn
Gilbert lighted the candles.
Carlton Pierce, cousin of the
groom, was usher.
Mrs. G. T. Pierce, Jr., was
the bride’s matron of honor. She*
wore a beige dress with brown
accessories and a corsage of
sweetheart roses.
Best man for the groom was
his brother. G. T. Pierce, Jr.
The bride wore a sky blue suit,
a small navy hat with navy ac
cessories and a corsage of white
orchids.
The bride’s mother wore navy
|and white with a corsage of pink
'roses and the groom’s mother
wore black chiffon with a cor
sage of tuberoses.
Immediately following the
ceremony the couple left for a
wedding trip to Florida. When
they return they will make their
home on Washington Street in
