IN MEMORIAM
In memory of my husband,
A. C. Blackwell, who pass
ed away one year ago Au
gust 15, 1945.
Toe rolling stream of life rolls
on, but still the vacant chair.
| recalls the love, the voice, the
smile of the one who opce sat
there. No one knows th; silent
heartaches, only those who havt
lost can tell the grief that is
borne in silence, of the one I
loved so well.
What would I give to clasp hL
hand, his happy face to see, to
hear his voice, to see the smile
that nvar.t so much to me.
The flowers I placed upon his
grave may wither and decay, but
the love for him who lies be
neath will never fade away.
At home in the beautful hills
of God, by the valley of rest so
fair, some day, some time, when
our work is done, with joy I
shall meet him there.
His wife,
