C.. annouce the birth of a son, Robert Chapman Low, in Washington on July 30. Mrs, Low is the former Miss Eli nor Boterweg of Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Joe A. Bedding field and daughter, Joye, return ed home Saturday alter spending several days at Savannah Beach. Olin Whittington and Miss Melba Driggers of Atlanta, brother and sister of Mrs. C. M. Driggers, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Driggers, and Miss Driggers remained here for a visit. i Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kersey moved into their new home in Andrew Heights Saturday. Mrs. Kersey, a native of England, came to this country last spring * with a group of British war brides, Mr. Kersey is connected with the Union Motor Co. Mrs. Magill Foster has arrived in San Juan. Puerto Rice, to join her husband, Captain Ma gill Foster of Perry, who is stat ioned there. Mrs. Foster’s trip required 16 days because of a re- j routing of her ship due to earth-1 quakes near Puerto Rico. The trip I was scheduled to require only six days. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Duggan and children, Mary Kathryn and Ed mund, spent Sunday with Mrs. Mary D. Brunson in Dublin,^- Dr. and Mrs. Duncan Cater and children, Duncan, Jr., and Ann, of Greensboro, N. C., are visiting Mrs. R. L. Cater here. Fred Linton, son of Jacob D. Linton, and Charles Garrett, son of Mrs. Essie Garrett, have com pleted their basic training in the U. S.
